Help Young Peacebuilders Turn Dialogue into Action
At a time when conflict and division dominate the headlines, young people are choosing a different path: dialogue, cooperation and peacebuilding. Yet their voices are still too often overlooked. Your support can help change that.
We are raising €10,000 to complete the event and support the peace initiatives that will grow from it afterwards. Every contribution, large or small, helps young peacebuilders gain the tools, network and momentum to create change where it is needed most.

Young people are not waiting for peace — they build it!
Your support…
… Young people to set up a Youth Peace Summit that’s now more important than ever before.
… Young people to bring home knowledge, support and network to set up their own peace activities in their communities.
… To show policy makers, politicians, and influentual people that young people have a voice that needs to be heard.
… Brings together partners from academia, the social sector and international NGOs for the shared cause of peace.
… Helps set up sustainable long-term peace initiatives
The Youth Peace Summit Team believes that young people should play a real role in creating and sustaining peace. That is why Rotary and Rotaract District 1600, Ithaka Academie and The Hague University of Applied Sciences have joined forces to organise a large-scale international youth peace event. The first edition of the Youth Peace Summit took place in 2025 and brought together 100 young people from 43 countries for a two-day summit in The Hague. The response was so strong that preparations for the next edition began immediately. Since then, a dedicated group of young volunteers has been working to create an even bigger three-day event for 150 participants. We are doing this together with a wide network of partners, including the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Hague Humanity Hub, Leiden University, UNOY and the Corrymeela Reconciliation Community in Northern Ireland.
As a donor, you will also be invited to the final celebration of the Youth Peace Summit on 19 June at 16:00 at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (Johanna Westerdijkplein 74). During this closing moment, the Youth Peace Charter will be formally presented to The Hague Mayor Jan van Zanen and Ambassador for Youth, Education and Work Jurriaan van Middelhoff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Join us in empowering the next generation of peacebuilders.
