The Youth Peace Summit Team believes that young people should play a real role in creating and sustaining peace. That is why Rotary and Rotaract District 1600, Ithaka Academie and The Hague University of Applied Sciences <\/strong>have joined forces to organise a large-scale international youth peace event. The first edition of the Youth Peace Summit took place in 2025 and brought together 100 young people from 43 countries for a two-day summit in The Hague. The response was so strong that preparations for the next edition began immediately. Since then, a dedicated group of young volunteers has been working to create an even bigger three-day event for 150 participants. We are doing this together with a wide network of partners, including the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong>, The Hague Humanity Hub<\/strong>, Leiden University<\/strong>, UNOY<\/strong> and the Corrymeela Reconciliation Community<\/strong> in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a donor, you will also be invited to the final celebration<\/strong> of the Youth Peace Summit on 19 June at 16:00<\/strong> at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (Johanna Westerdijkplein 74). During this closing moment, the Youth Peace Charter will be formally presented to The Hague Mayor Jan van Zanen<\/strong> and Ambassador for Youth, Education and Work Jurriaan van Middelhoff<\/strong> of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
