During the Youth Peace Summit we invite participants of the Youth Peace Summit to stay in The Netherlands, totally free of charge! Various Rotary member open the doors of their houses to host participants, free of charge! Participants can request a hosting space this using the form below.
Conditions applying to our Hosting at Home Initiative:
- We have only a limited amount of hosting locations, so be quick to claim your spot!
- We cannot guarantee that we can find a free hosting location for every Hosting request. . No rights can be derived from filling in the form below.
- The distance of your home relative to the venue of the youth Peace Summit will be taking into consideration when allocating hosting homes. In this, priority will be to the participants coming from furthest away.
- Some hosting families are able to receive two or even more participants. In your registration, you are welcome to indicate if you wish to be hosted together with a friend and we will seek to accomodate. However, we cannot guarantee being able to accomodate to every participant.
- Do you have any special needs or requirements for your stay, for example due to a physical disability? Please let us know in the form above, we will seek to accomodate everyone, but can’t guarantee that every noted wish will be granted. In case of complications regarding the location of your hosting
- In The Netherlands, the bicyle rules the streets. This is for many the best way to reach their hosting families. Some families will supply their participants with a bicycle to reach the venue at their own pace. Please indicate in the form if you’re willing to ride a bicycle by yourself.
Last note: Our participants are generally being hosted by Rotary members. They do this without compensation. Please be aware of this during your stay. Treat your hosts with respect and dignity. A little gift from your home country would be much appreciated!
